Fandom History

though the fandom is still alive today, there's a few notable projects, websites, and people i believe deserve a place in this Pendragon history section. i obviously can't mention everything, but i can summarize what i believe is most important.
you can also check out the pendragon page on Fanlore, where i wrote all this same information in a slightly more concise and professional way :>

Hallanet
Hallanet was a network for Pendragon fans consisting of Hallastar (forums), Hallacast (podcast), and Hallawiki (collaborative wiki). The site was never as popular as the official Pendragon site, but Hallanet's members, contributors, and admins were apparently very dedicated and passionate. Though most of the branches of Hallanet aren't online anymore, the main page is, at http://hallanet.50webs.com/.
Hallastar, the forum website, was created on November 22, 2006 by a user known as VL. the site was originally known as "VL's Pen forum" and was hosted by eAmped. after eAmped shut down, the forum was moved to Invisionfree. The forums were around for as long as its host, Invisionfree, was, and ended with over 200 users and 10 thousand posts.
Hallacast was started September 19, 2007, hosted by VL and forum admin Fralf. There were fifteen episodes of Hallacast made, and the final ten are still available on Podomatic. these episodes are definitely worth the listen if you're interested; they're a whole lot of fun!
Hallawiki was created on December 1, 2007 and was hosted by Free Wiki. Hallawiki was recently taken offline, presumably from the host shutting down. You can still explore most of it on the wayback machine.

Other forums
The Convergence was a forum created in 2006 and was the largest Pendragon forum, however it eventually became almost entirely focused on roleplay and was no longer considered a Pendragon site. i'm not sure what became of the forum, but it had around 500 members before it closed. Welcome to Halla was another forum, created around June of 2007. it competed with the convergence for popularity, and the competition weakened the forum until it was deleted. it had around 270 members.

Raven Rising
this was another Pendragon podcast, not affiliated with Hallanet but hosted by Hallastar admin Anna, aka defying.expectations, along with her co-host Jonathan. There were five episodes made, and two are still available on Podomatic.
