a very interesting discussion, mostly about sylo, but there's lots of stuff that could apply to pendragon too, particularly dj talking about writing girls, and why he kills off certain characters.
this is mostly Dark stuff, but near the end he talks about a few people he's met that have told him about just how important pendragon is to them, and his feelings about having touched people like that... it's nice to hear :)
this is a lot like the talks he gives at schools and bookstores, but i'm saving it here because there's a few particularly funny moments and some good questions near the end.
nothing particular of note in this one, but since it's about dj as an author (as opposed to a director on tv), i'll keep it listed here.
a fairly lengthy interview about all his books up to sylo, with a lot of writing advice.
dj answers a bunch of questions from people on reddit (on a different account than the ama he did more recently... i guess he forgot his password.) highlights are: dj mentioning he once considered writing a story about jinx olsen, and talking about which parts of the series moved him emotionally. there's plenty of other interesting questions though, definitely check this one out if you're curious!
not much to mention here, except that dj mentions he just read stephen king's 11/22/63, which is a book i finished reading only a few days before finding this interview... spooky
these above three are mostly about morpheus road, but i'd still like to keep them listed here because... i like morpheus.
this is the only place i've ever seen dj talk about why he chose the name pendragon. he says that the name means "leader," thus why he gave it to bobby, lead traveler. (also, this interview is 15 minutes and there is over 2 full hours of silence inexplicably placed at the end of this video. lmfao)
